NOTICE
Pursuant to Section 67-5-508, Tennessee Code Annotated, the property assessments of Sullivan County will be available for public inspection at Room 103, Sullivan County Courthouse, 3411 Highway 126, during normal business hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Any person desiring to inspect these records may do so at the appointed time and place.
The Sullivan County Board of Equalization will begin its annual session to examine and equalize the county assessments on June 1, 2024. THE BOARD WILL ACCEPT APPEALS FOR TAX YEAR 2024 ONLY UNTIL THE LAST DAY OF ITS 2024 REGULAR SESSION. The board will hold hearings beginning June 1 in the Sullivan County Courthouse, Property Assessors Office, Room 103. The hearings will be by appointment and can be arranged by calling 323-6455.
Any property owner who wishes to make a complaint or appeal to the Sullivan County Board of Equalization should appear before said Board personally at his designated time OR by personal appearance of an agent for the owner bearing the owner’s written authorization. Failure to appeal an assessment may result in the assessment becoming final without further right of appeal.
